Accreditation News: Hzhu Jiangnanzhongjie Community Health Centre Receives Prestigious Practice Accreditation

Guangzhou, China - The World Organization of General Practitioners WONCA proudly announces the prestigious Practice Accreditation bestowed upon the Hzhu Jiangnanzhongjie Community Health Centre. This significant achievement underscores the Centre's commitment to delivering top-tier healthcare services and upholding international standards of practice.

The rigorous assessment process, conducted by an expert panel from WONCA, encompassed a comprehensive evaluation covering facility standards, professional qualifications, patient care practices, and operational policies. The verification took place in April 2024 through virtual assessments led by Prof. Samuel Y.S. Wong, Director of the School of Public Health and Primary Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong CUHK, and Prof. Jose M. Chema Valderas, Professor of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and Head of Family Medicine Department. An in-person review followed in May 2024 with Prof. Wong's participation.

Hzhu Jiangnanzhongjie Community Health Centre, situated in Guangzhou's Hzhu District, was assessed agnst the stringent WONCA Global Standards to ensure impeccable quality across all aspects of healthcare delivery. The Centre is staffed by an experienced team comprising 70 professionals, including 20 General Practitioners and 23 community nurses.
