Particularly concerning is the occurrence of postoperative infections that could jeopardize not only patient health but also overall aesthetic outcomes. This paper investigate the various factors contributing to postoperative infection in patients who have undergone rhinoplasty.

This study employs a retrospective analysis , focusing on data collected from 43 individuals over the period between January 205 and February 208 at our facility. The dataset is comprehensive, encompassing all records of patients undergoing rhinoplasty procedures followed by their outcomes up to one year post-surgery.
Identification of Risk Factors:
The analysis identified several risk factors influencing postoperative infection rates among rhinoplasty patients. Key findings include:
Pre-existing Health Conditions: Patients with chronic diseases or compromised immune systems were found to have a higher risk of infection compared to healthy individuals.
Operative Techniques and Equipment: The type of surgical technique used, as well as the cleanliness standards mntned during surgery, significantly affected postoperative outcomes.
Anesthesia Type: General anesthesia was associated with increased risks due to its longer duration and potential impact on patient recovery.
